If you have previously downloaded this title it is best recommended that you delete it and download this latest one that is up now,it will have all necessary fixes for any bugs that were previously in the game. Original Xbox games becoming downloadable on Xbox Live

According to gaming "mega blog" Joystiq.com,beginning December 4th Microsoft will begin to offer original Xbox titles for download through Xbox Live as part of the fall update. The first titles that will be downloadable to your Xbox 360 are Halo, Fable, Indigo Prophecy, Crimson Skies, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex and Burnout 3. the titles will cost 1,200 msp ($15.00 each)

In my honest opinion this is a good idea by Microsoft. There have been numerous complaints and reported problems with the Xbox 360's backwards compatibility which this will do away with,we will have to wait and see if achievements will be included with the original titles (hopefully so) as well as online play. More details will definitely be surfacing as we get closer to December 4th.

The Zune Card

Whats up readers,it's me,the guy behind the scene here at THEjdb360 Xbox 360 blog. What I am posting is not Xbox 360 related but it is cool and it is Microsoft related. As you may or may not know,today is a huge day for us Zune owners. The Zune marketplace has relaunched now offering videos and podcasts,and a BIG firmware update has been released for the Zune 30. One of the cooler features that has been introduced today is the Zune Card. The Zune Card is similar to the Xbox 360 gamercard feature which shows the last couple of songs I have listened to on my Zune or the Zune software,and you can click on the music I have listened to sample it and even purchase!.

This feature is definitely a first of it's kind. It works very well and should hopefully help the Zune gain some ground on the competition. Well that's all for now,I just wanted to let you know what the new card was on the right side of the blog,go get one of your own!

Wow what a week for us Xbox 360 owners!. First of all we got one of the years most anticipated games Assassin's Creed finally hitting store shelves. Also the shooter fans are going to be covered with Blacksite Area 51,Soldier of Fortune Payback and Americas Army. Kane&Lynch Dead Men looks to be a solid 3rd person shooter from the makers of the Hitman games. Of course you can't forget about Need for Speed Prostreet coming out this week as well,which will be keeping the racing fans happy.

Something for everyone is the topic for this week,you can play anything from Assassin's Creed to Shrek-n-Roll! This is a great time of the year for us gamers but not so much for our wallets.

Tons of tracks,lots and lots of cars,smooth frame rate,top of the line graphics,very cool,extensive,and varied soundtrack,best weather effects of any game ever,controls that are not tedious like more realistic racers,although cars do not stick to the track like more arcadey racing games.All these things describe Project Gotham Racing 4.If you like racing games this is a must buy!!. Even if you are not into racing games you might want to check it out because of it's extensive career and arcade modes. All of this and you can race online too!!. Along with the ability to upload in-game pics and replays.

Two more demos are up today to keep up the consisitency Microsoft has shown with releasing demos lately,which is definate good thing. The first one to mention is the demo to Project Gotham Racing 4,this demo contains exclusive content not found in the retail game,it weighs in at 1.27gb. The next is a demo to F.E.A.R Files Extraction Point and it is 584.87 mb.

"Yaris" is a totally free game from Toyota that features their new car model the Toyota Yaris,how this game will turn out I have no idea. But hey it's free!.

On the other hand we got Puzzle Quest:Challenge of the Warlords coming up as well,this game will cost you 1,200 msp($15.00). Puzzle Quest will feature LIVE play, HD support, Achievements, Vision camera support, and more.

So it looks like a good week for the XBLA this week,because free games are always a good thing,by the way,the free Yaris game is only available to the US and Canada.

REVIEW: Moto GP 07

My old friends over at THQ and Climax have brought back one of my all time favorite racing franchises (Moto GP 07) for the Xbox 360. After a "so so" start on the 360 with Moto GP 06 I was excited to see what '07 would turn out to look like. Well I am pleased to tell you that it is great! Climax has definitely gotten better with the 360 hardware that's for sure. The framerate problems of '06 are gone,the screen tearing of '06 is gone,if it is negative it is gone,trust me.

The graphics have been revamped majorly to further take advantage of the 360's graphical ability,and the control remains the same,challenging but rewarding if you can master them. Overall Moto GP 07 is a very nice improvement over its predecessor and is a must have for the hardcore Xbox 360 racing fan.

In some shocking news the mega publisher Activision has aquired PGR developer Bizzare Creations. What does this mean for the future of the PGR series remaining exclusive to the Xbox 360? Microsoft will not be releasing an arcade game this Wednesday since we'll all be playing Halo 3 so starting Tuesday at 5pm pacific,Microsoft will be cutting the prices of some more of their Xbox Live Arcade games,check out the details below from Gamespot.com

Bankshot Billiards 2 ordinarily sells for 1,200 Microsoft points ($15), but during the promotion, it will sell for 900 Microsoft points ($11.25). Meanwhile, Frogger and Hardwood Spades--each of which normally sells for 400 Microsoft points ($5)--will fetch 300 Microsoft points ($3.75) for the sale.
The price drops will remain in effect until 5 p.m. Pacific on October 2.

I got this game in the mail yesterday(yeah ,i know,about time huh?)Anyways kind of knowing what to expect.Well,It grabs my attention right off the bat.I pick my character then head off to Hawaii.When I get there I have to rent a car,and then drive to the real estate agents office.The controls of the car surprised me.They handle really tight and it's not easy to lose control of the car,but at the same time they do not stick to the roads either,like arcade games.Each car I bought had its own feel,and sound.The many races are varied,some are short while others are quite long.I really like how they integrated the online races too.Driving in freeride also lets you hang out with and talk to friends.A little slowdown at times but nothing big,and graphics are quite nice.I really like this game.

Hi everybody.I am Jacob,but you will probably get to know me better as "The Game Critic".In the future I will be reviewing games and maybe commenting on latest game news.Let me warn you though.I am not the type of person who is easily impressed.Just because everybody else likes a game,doesn't mean diddly to me.I will review it as I see it.Same goes for if everyone doesn't like.If I like it,it's getting a good grade.As far as grades go I will be using a 10 point system with use of decimals.A 10 is the best grade a game can get and a .1 is the worst.Hopefully I will never have to review a game that is that bad.Anyways,keep an eye out on some reviews of mine in the coming days.

Just to let all of you out there know,Xbox Live will be down for maintenance tomorrow morning (Monday morning) starting at 2AM PST and it will be down for 4 hours. THIS IS NOT THE FALL UPDATE,Do not expect to see any visual differences to the dashboard or Xbox.com after LIVE comes back up. This is simply a maintenance just to make sure the servers keep running the best they can.

EDIT- pay no attention to this post anymore as the service is back up and running like new!

Well if you are a fan of this game called "Halo 3" coming out in September you might be interested in the line of Halo 3 accessories coming out from Microsoft. The controllers (which are Master Chief and Brute chief themed) are due out in stores in a matter of days now and will cost you $59.99 each. The headset is due out around the same time and will also cost $59.99. So these along with the Halo 3 console due out around a week later,all Halo fanatics are going to be very happy and very broke in the next couple of weeks. Since I am already pretty broke I have nothing to worry about,but I do want to get my hands on one of the controllers.

......And did I mention that the controllers each come with a Todd McFarlane designed Master Chief figure?,that should seal the deal right there,seriously!

The upcoming chatpad for the Xbox 360 is going to be pretty useful for.....some people. I don't think I will be using this a whole bunch since I don't even really use the messenger. Will this be used for upcoming MMO's? If so,then count me in,I even play PSU every now and then so I will be checking to see if this thing will work with that game.

The chatpad looks cool,but it's only going to be an asset to a certain percentage of gamers,lets hope it is a big percentage.
